Another Home, Another Journey Completed 

There is always something special about handover day.

For the homeowners, it is the moment when months of planning, decisions and renovation works finally become a home they can step into and call their own.

For the team behind it, it is also a chance to look back at everything that happened before that final photo was taken.

Today, that moment belongs to Mr Max Lee & Ms Khai Xin.

Their journey with Easyreno began with a booking on 3 April 2026. Before renovation could officially commence, part of the early period was spent waiting for the developer to complete its defect rectification works.

While waiting, our team continued moving ahead with the planning, design and preparation so that the renovation could progress once the unit was ready.

And slowly, an empty condominium unit began turning into a home.

A Home Comes Together Through Many Small Decisions

Looking at the completed space today, the finished result may seem simple.

Clean cabinetry. Warm lighting. Timber textures. A kitchen ready to be used. Storage fitted neatly into the bedrooms.

But behind every finished detail are many smaller decisions.

For this home, the renovation involved coordination across drawings, M&E works, air-conditioning, plaster ceiling, carpentry, flooring, countertops, lighting, curtains, cleaning and final touch-ups.

Some works could progress together.

Others had to wait for measurements, confirmation or an earlier scope to be completed first.

That is why renovation is rarely just about getting each contractor to finish his own part.

The real work is often in making sure all the different parts eventually come together as one home.

Making Practical Space Feel More Considered

One of the design details we particularly like in this home is the way storage was integrated into the bedrooms.

The full-height wardrobe makes better use of the available vertical space, while the rounded corner softens what could otherwise have been a rather large block of cabinetry.

Beside it, a small timber-finished niche adds warmth and creates a practical spot for everyday items.

In the kitchen, the combination of lighter upper cabinets and darker timber finishes below keeps the space clean without making it feel flat.

Warm under-cabinet lighting changes the atmosphere again in the evening and also gives the worktop useful task lighting.

None of these elements needs to shout for attention.

Together, they simply make the home feel more complete.

Behind One Completed Home Are Many People

This renovation journey was led by Amira, our Interior Designer and Project PIC, with support from Diana, Hafifie, our back-end team, contractors, subcontractors and site crew.

Some of them met the homeowners regularly on site.

Some coordinated through WhatsApp.

Others worked almost entirely behind the scenes.

A homeowner may only see a few familiar faces throughout the renovation, but completing a home usually involves many more people than that.

Everyone has a different part to play, and every part eventually affects the next.

That is also why good renovation coordination matters.

Handover Is More Than Taking Photos

Before the celebration comes the checking.

During handover, Amira walked through the completed home together with the homeowners, going through the different areas and checking the final details.

Cabinet doors and drawers were opened.

The kitchen was inspected.

The bedrooms and carpentry were walked through again.

Anything that still required attention could be identified and followed up.

For us, that part of the handover is just as important as the group photo afterwards.

A project is not completed simply because everything looks good from a distance.

The details still matter.

At the Centre of the Journey Is Trust

Renovation involves a home, a considerable investment and months of decisions.

So behind every signed quotation and every drawing approval is something much more important:

trust.

When homeowners place their home, their expectations and their hard-earned money in our hands, we understand the responsibility that comes with it.

And a genuine renovation journey will not always be completely without adjustments or challenges.

What matters is what happens when something needs attention.

Do we communicate?

Do we correct it?

Do we continue coordinating until the project moves forward?

That is the part of renovation that cannot always be captured in a finished-home photograph.

But it is also the part that often determines how the entire journey feels.

A Small Gesture at the Finish Line

At the end of the handover, there was another nice surprise.

Mr Max Lee & Ms Khai Xin had prepared thoughtful gifts for the team.

It was a simple gesture, but after months of going through the renovation journey together, it meant a lot.

And then came the group photo.

Four smiling faces, thumbs up, and a completed home behind them.

A simple photograph — but one that represents months of planning, site work, discussions, decisions, coordination and teamwork.

To Amira and everyone involved, both seen and unseen, well done on bringing another home across the finishing line.

又一个家，完成了属于它的装修旅程 

交屋的这一天，总有一种特别的感觉。

对屋主来说，这是经历了几个月的规划、选择和装修工程以后，终于可以真正走进一个属于自己的家的时刻。

而对参与整个工程的团队来说，这一天也让我们有机会回头看看，在最后这一张合照之前，大家一起走过了怎样的一段过程。

今天，这个时刻属于 Mr Max Lee & Ms Khai Xin。

他们与 Easyreno 的装修旅程，从 2026年4月3日确认 booking 开始。

装修正式展开以前，我们经历了一段等待发展商完成 defect rectification 的时间。

在等待的同时，团队也没有完全停下来，而是继续推进规划、设计和前期准备，让单位准备好以后，后面的装修工作可以继续衔接下去。

就这样，一个原本空空的单位，也开始一点一点变成一个家。

一个家的完成，是很多小决定累积出来的

今天再看完成后的空间，一切看起来可能很简单。

干净的柜体、舒服的灯光、温暖的木纹、已经可以开始使用的厨房，还有把空间好好利用起来的储物设计。

但每一个完成的细节背后，其实都有很多不同的小决定。

这个家的装修涉及了图纸、水电、冷气、石膏天花、木作、地板、台面、灯具、窗帘、清洁，以及最后的 touch-up。

有些工程可以同步进行。

有些则必须等前面的工作完成、尺寸确认或者设计决定落实以后，才能继续。

所以装修并不只是让每一个 contractor 把自己的工作做完。

真正重要的是，怎样让这些不同的部分最后可以顺利接起来，成为同一个完整的家。

把有限的空间，用得更舒服一点

这个家有几个设计细节，是我们自己也蛮喜欢的。

卧室里的满高衣柜，把垂直空间尽量利用起来；而柜体侧面的圆角处理，也让一个比较大面积的柜子看起来没有那么生硬。

旁边再加入一个木纹小壁龛，让整个设计多了一点温度，也提供了一个日常可以放置小物件的实用位置。

厨房则用了比较浅色的上柜，配搭较深的木纹下柜。

整体不会太复杂，却有足够的层次。

到了晚上，吊柜下方的暖色灯带亮起以后，整个厨房的感觉也会变得不一样，同时也为工作台提供了实际的照明。

这些设计未必需要很抢眼。

但很多时候，一个家最后住起来舒不舒服，就是这些小细节一起累积出来的。

一间完成的家，背后其实有很多人

这个项目主要由我们的 Interior Designer & Project PIC Amira 负责，并由 Diana、Hafifie、Easyreno 后台团队、contractors、subcontractors 和 site crew 一起配合完成。

有些人，屋主经常会在现场看到。

有些人，主要在 WhatsApp group 里面协调。

也有一些伙伴，从头到尾大部分时间都在幕后完成自己的部分。

屋主在装修过程中接触到的可能只是几个熟悉的面孔，但真正把一个家完成，背后通常还有更多人的参与。

每个人负责的事情不一样。

而每一个人的进度，又会影响下一项工作。

这也是为什么装修里的 coordination 那么重要。

交屋，不只是来拍一张照片

真正拍照庆祝之前，还是要先检查。

在这次 handover 里，Amira 与屋主一起再次走完整个新家，把不同空间和最后的细节重新检查一遍。

柜门打开来看。

抽屉拉出来检查。

厨房再过一轮。

卧室和木作也再一起 walk through。

如果还有需要注意或者 follow up 的地方，就在这个时候再确认下来。

对 Easyreno 来说，这个过程跟最后的合照一样重要。

一个 project 并不是远远看起来漂亮，就代表所有事情都完成了。

最后的细节，一样重要。

装修这件事，真正的起点还是信任

装修牵涉的是一个家、一笔不小的投资，还有几个月里面大大小小的决定。

所以每一份签下来的 quotation、每一张确认的 drawing 背后，其实都有一样更重要的东西：

信任。

当顾客把自己的家、对未来生活的期待，还有一笔辛苦赚来的钱交到我们手上，我们知道，这份信任背后代表的是一份责任。

而真正的装修过程，也不可能永远完全没有需要调整或解决的事情。

重要的是，当事情发生的时候，接下来怎样处理。

有没有继续沟通？

需要修正的地方，有没有去修正？

不同的人，有没有继续协调，把事情往前推进？

这些东西，未必能够从一张完成后的漂亮照片里面看得到。

但很多时候，它们才是真正决定整个装修体验的地方。

在终点收到的一份小心意

到了 handover 的最后，还有一个让团队很开心的小惊喜。

Mr Max Lee & Ms Khai Xin 特别准备了一些礼物给团队。

礼物本身也许只是一个小小的心意。

但经过几个月一起走完整个装修过程以后，这份心意对参与其中的人来说，真的很有意义。

然后，就是最后那一张合照。

四个人的笑容、几个 thumbs up，后面就是已经完成的新家。

看起来只是一张简单的照片。

但照片背后，是这几个月以来的规划、现场施工、讨论、选择、协调，还有很多人的共同配合。

也要给 Amira，以及所有参与这个家的伙伴——不论是在台前还是幕后——一个掌声。

大家又一起把一个 renovation project，真正带到了终点。
